If you’ve ever been on a Zoom video call, you know the human face knows no limits when it comes to looking its ugliest.
And that’s true for everyone!
Just look at this picture of Matthew McConaughey on Zoom.
Honestly, if that’s what Matthew Freaking McConaughey looks like in a certain light, and from a certain angle, what hope do any of us have?
Well, the subreddit r/PrettyGirlsUglyFaces seeks to make light of exactly how, no matter how beautiful any of us are, “ugliness” is not far away.
This subreddit all started in 2011 as a Tumblr blog called, you guessed it: Pretty Girls Making Ugly Faces. It went viral and since then hot girls have been uploading not-so-hot pics of themselves to Reddit, all as a means of poking fun at society’s fragile standards of beauty that are so easily revealed to be, well, utter BS.
Scroll through and see what these gorgeous (and brave) ladies have been up to. And don’t forget to share your own, if you’ve got the guts.
Side note: Let’s start a version of this for dudes, shall we?
