16. Disney sounds like a fun company to work for.
I called out of Disney from the ER because my lungs stopped working. And when I told my scheduler where I was, his response was, “you should’ve planned your life better.” So screw your Aaron. https://t.co/9muDZQz0gA

17. Some bosses don’t even listen when you vomit.
Working at H&M I called from my bathroom toilet puking my guts out and as I told my manager I’m not coming in, I legit puked over the phone and they still had the audacity to say ” so are you sure you’re too sick to come in?? It’s only a 5 hour shift” https://t.co/NP4nLRqvcR

18. If you have time to leave, you have time to clean.
when i worked at old navy my shift ended at 6 and when i went to clock out at 5:59 my manager got mad at me and began to reprimand me about how that minute was “company time” lmao https://t.co/1Ixejk7n7g

19. What a kind boss you have.
I found out my uncle had shot his wife and then himself in a double suicide during my lunch break. My manager’s response? “Take an extra 30 if you need it.” https://t.co/m3U0muQkzR

20. This boss needs it in writing.
When I was in beauty school I had to go to the office and let them know my grandmother had passed away and I had to attend her funeral so I would miss a day later that week. The response was “ok just bring me the obituary card when you’re back” https://t.co/stT3JOXtAS

21. How many times does an employee have to tell you something, bosses?
I worked at a supermarket once and contracted norovirus that was doing the rounds. I asked all day to leave as I really wasn’t feeling well. I then projectile vomited all over a customers shopping and the managers had a go at me! I was like ‘ I’ve been asking for hours to leave’

22. When are you going to get serious about your life?
One time when I worked at Kohl’s in high school, they kept calling me to pick up shifts during school and when I said no over and over, they asked if school was more important. I was 16

23. Bosses don’t understand medical conditions.
Olive Garden made me work without heat gloves in the kitchen and I told them that I needed the gloves because if I got burnt I don’t heal like normal people because I am a type 1 diabetic and they fired me.

24. This boss knows how to keep people motivated.
When I got 4 wisdom teeth removed, instead of taking medical leave my company provided, I took PTO for a week. When I came back, I still hadn’t recovered. Lockjaw, numb tongue, and so much pain. My managers chastised me and wrote me up for “underperforming”.

25. Embarrassing for everyone.
Lol I went there for an interview and they legit hired someone else IN FRONT OF ME and told me they’ll call me. Like damn I know I’m not getting the job. You didn’t have to lie to me

26. The boss needs you rain or shine or accident.
Omw to work at AMC I was in a bad car accident where my car was totalled. I asked my gf to take me to work and I worked the rest of my shift that night, telling them I’d need time off. GM talks to me on a night I call off saying I should “inform them of conflicts in advance” 😒 https://t.co/o8XLfFCw4S

27. The long con.
Two years after being fired, I received an email from my former boss asking if I could train my replacement. 🤔
