It’s much easier to laugh at these funny memes about a ship stuck in the Suez Canal than it is to actually remove the ship. Trust me. I’m an expert on what’s funny and also on how long it takes engineers to do anything.
Unfortunately, the blocking of the Suez Canal is costing the world economy billions every day. If other boats can’t move through the waterway, no one can ship anything. It’s disrupting 10% of mankind’s shipments. Next time you buy a pair of Nikes and it costs $400 extra, you can thank the captain of this boat. Or the resale apps for upping the price of the shoes based on demand. But, I digress.
