The COVID pandemic is almost over, and we’ll all be reentering society soon. If you can call it “society,” man. (I watched Joker several times and am now smart.). The personality I’ve decided to take up after quarantine officially ends is “incel.” I’m kidding, but I am getting married soon so who knows, right fellas? An Op-Ed in the NY Times by Olga Khazan made a simple statement: “You can be a different person after the pandemic.” Funny people on Twitter couldn’t resist.
I’m not even sure what the article says. Hopefully, when the pandemic ends, I’ll be the kind of person who actually finishes reading news articles before I start forming an opinion on them. But, that’s not me. Yet. For now, I’m the kind of person who likes to skim the headlines about how people can become more extroverted or introverted based on living “as if” they’d always been that way. Then, I laugh at the jokes people make about the smart person’s column.
What can I say? I’m an idiot.
