There’s a big labor movement happening in the United States at the moment. People are demanding better pay and better working conditions in every industry.
If you’ve been paying attention, however, you’d have noticed that long ago people stopped caring about doing their best work. Frankly, I don’t blame them.
Just the other day I arrived at a McDonald’s a half hour before they closed, and I saw an employee locking up and ducking out early. I waved at him and thought “good for him.” Also, I didn’t need any more food, so he was right to leave for many reasons.
The following people, I must say, I respect a little less. They’re not even trying.
