First off, yes I beat BattleToads.
We all have that one game that made us realize gaming was our thing. For most of us, it started in childhood with a simple game that had fun, eye-catching graphics and drew us in like a magnet, igniting a lifelong love of gaming. For me, that game was Mario Kart—the classic that still holds up, unlike some others that might’ve aged as well as milk left in the sun.
But just think about how much gaming has evolved in the last decade. It’s pretty thrilling to imagine what the future holds for video games. Sure, VR is the obvious trend, becoming more immersive with each passing year, but there are bound to be surprises that we can’t even dream of. I mean, when I was zipping around in Mario Kart, I never thought that years later, Minecraft would still be going strong. Okay, maybe that’s not the best example, but you get my point.
