Taylor Swift’s album, The Tortured Poets Department, has received a range of reactions but her fans are excited to have all the new songs from their favorite artist. No matter how you feel about the album, it’s already inspired at least one Twitter meme that has become wildly popular. Check out this excerpt from “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” which has taken social media by storm:
“I wanna snarl and show you just how disturbed this has made me
You wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me

I’m always drunk on my own tears, isn’t that what they all say?”
The line “You wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me” has turned into a meme, thanks to its humor when taken out of context (and maybe even in it). It’s no surprise that Twitter users have had a field day with it.
